Undergraduate Research
Completed a four-year Bachelor of Arts with Joint Honours in English and Philosophy in 2006. Dissertation was entitled "The Mediated Subject Redefined: Negotiating the Virtual/Corporeal Divide in Don DeLillo's Cosmopolis and White Noise".
Postgraduate Research
Studying for a doctorate in English at UWA since March 2008, with a working thesis title of "How the Novelist Got His Eyes: Don DeLillo's Ventures into the Genre of Theatre".

Past Experience
May 2009 — Presented a special lecture to first year students in the English unit 'Ideas of Modernity' called 'Modernity and the fin de siècle'.
2009–present —Tutor in the English units 'Ideas of Modernity' and 'Reading Texts/Mediating Culture'.
2008–present — Editorial Assistant for the Australasian Journal of Philosophy.
2007 — Employed during UWA's enrolment period for Student Services and as guest speaker at UWA Expo on behalf of the English Department.
2006/07 — Student Casual Library Officer at UWA's Reid (i.e. main) and Music Libraries.
2005 — Researched and assembled the State Library of WA's Winter Arts Festival exhibition, 'Russia — Land of the Steppes and Tsars'. |
